Here is what you'll need:
- leftover pork tenderloin sliced thin (or whatever meat you have leftover)
- 1/2 cup of your favorite BBQ sauce
- 1/3 cup apple juice
- 1/3 cup onion chopped
- 1 tbs garlic minced
- 1 tbs olive oil
- few dashes of hot sauce (optional)
- 4 bun ( I use a multigrain bun)
- sautee onion and garlic in olive oil until translucent and aromatic.
- add BBQ sauce, apple juice and hot sauce and reduce heat to a low simmer
- add meat and heat through. I like to break up the meat as it simmers you don't have to do that
- heat though and serve on toasted buns and serve!
